Pandanus "Veitchii," most commonly known as variegated screw pine, is a dramatic tropical plant with multiple trunks and spirals of stiff, blue-green leaves that grow as long as 4 feet. Mature trees develop large, edible but unpleasant-tasting fruit that resembles a pineapple.
